Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor is an active naval base. However, it has historic importance as well. By visiting Pearl Harbor, you will get to know about the tragic 1941 attack. It is an emotional site. The Harbor is virtually surrounded by the cities of Ewa, Waipahu, Pearl City, Aiea, and Honolulu.
USS Arizona Memorial
It is one of Pearl Harbor’s five locations and the most visited site in Honolulu. It floats above the sunken, remains of USS Arizona which was destroyed on December 7, 1941. More than a thousand crew members also died in this attack.
Aloha Tower
It is a historic landmark and port with several shopping and dining marketplaces. Aloha Tower is located on the Honolulu Harbor in Downtown Honolulu and is an iconic symbol of Hawaii State. The tower stood as a welcoming beacon for visitors. This tower has historical importance as well however, it has transformed into a marketplace.
Iolani Palace
It is a former residence of the Hawaiian monarchy located in the downtown area of Honolulu. Iolani Palace was the official residence of the Hawaiian Kingdom’s last two monarchs: King Kalakaua and his sister and successor, Queen Liliuokalani.
Waikiki Beach
Waikiki Beach is one of the world-famous beaches. Thousands of visitors from different countries visit here every day. There are several world-famous hotels, restaurants; residential comforts are available around Waikiki Beach.
